Teach — every live lesson

    Run the session as normal — with transcription on, it is transcribed automatically.

  2. Approve the AI lesson note

    AI drafts a short note from the transcript; the tutor reviews and approves it (and can share it with parents).

    One click makes a quiz from the note. The tutor edits and publishes; results land in the grade book.

    Students work through the course between sessions. Per-lesson analytics show where they stall — shaping the next live lesson.

For tutors

How do I create a course?
Courses are part of the Pro plan and above. From your dashboard, open Courses and create one — a course is made of modules, and each module holds lessons. A lesson can have written content, a video link, attachments (PDFs, images or links) and a practice quiz. Everything stays a private draft until you publish it.
Can fair-do draft a course for me?
Yes. Pick one of your students and we'll draft a course from your approved lesson notes with them — structure, lessons and all. It's a starting point, not a finished product: you review it, edit anything you like, and nothing reaches students until you publish.
How do I enrol students?
You enrol students you already teach on fair-do — open the course, choose a student, and it appears on their dashboard straight away. Access follows your tutoring relationship, and you can remove a student from a course at any time.
Can I control the pace students work at?
Yes, in two ways. Set a module to unlock a number of days after enrolment, so the material arrives step by step rather than all at once. And give any student a target completion date — they'll see it on the course and get one reminder email about a day before.
Can I sell my course? What does it cost me?
You can list any published course on the public catalogue — free, or priced from £1 to £500. Sales are 0% commission: the only deduction is Stripe's card processing fee (1.5% + 20p), passed on at cost, and everything else goes to you. You'll just need to finish your Stripe payout setup before setting a price.
How do I see how my students are getting on?
Every course has an analytics view: who's enrolled, who's started, who's finished, and average progress — plus completions lesson by lesson, so you can spot exactly where students slow down and adjust.

For students & parents

Where do I find my courses?
Open Courses from your dashboard — anything your tutor has enrolled you on is there. Work through the lessons at your own pace, take any practice quizzes, and mark each lesson complete as you go. Your progress saves automatically.
Why is a module locked?
Your tutor can set later modules to open a certain number of days after you join the course, so it arrives in manageable steps. You'll see the date each module unlocks — nothing is wrong, and there's nothing you need to do.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Finish every lesson in a course and you can download your completion certificate straight from the course page — yours to keep or share.
I'm a parent — can I follow my child's courses?
Yes. If you use the parent portal, your child's courses appear on your dashboard with their progress. It's read-only, so you can follow along without changing anything — and if you have questions about the course itself, the tutor is the best person to ask.
